He is a professional photographer, writer, author coach, speaker, and book publisher. He has written five best selling and critically acclaimed books on Colorado. Upon returning from The 2013 Climate Reality Projects Leadership Training program in Chicago, he created the head-turning presentation, “The Effects of Climate Change on Colorado,” to communicate with Coloradoan’s about the Climate Crisis and how to proceed. Subsequently, he founded the Climate Colorado and the Switch 2020 Campaign to move Colorado to become a world leader as Net Zero State. This past November he organized and founded the first “Colorado Climate Summit” using Rapid Prototyping to inspire and engage a legion of Colorado’s to be the change they want to see. Simple his mission is to end the burning fossil fuels and switch to clean safe renewable energy and energy efficiency systems by the year 2020. Castellino explains how rapid prototyping is the mechanism needed to solve Colorado’s local climate crisis and affect global climate change simultaneously. You ask, what’s his big hairy audacious goal? Simply, move the state of Colorado away from burning fossils as fuels to renewables and go Net Zero by the year 2020. http://www.climatecolorado.org/ This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
