We were in a pandemic pause. COUNTDOWN through a series of interactive & intergenerational online conversations, TEDxVail’s distributed team asked beautiful questions to uncover clues from the pause of the COVID-19 crisis. We wanted to know: How might acting on climate solutions impact our local neighborhoods to limit further crises?

We lined up experts, youth, local leaders, and indigenous elders for conversations from perspectives not usually heard. We livestreamed TED’s Climate Conference: COUNTDOWN. We broadcasted live on Zoom. We encouraged participants to add elements – seasonal flowers, lively wines to pair, thoughtful art, clever cartoons, an elegant or wacky place setting, or other special treats.

We thank everyone who helped us make this an Xperience worth bringing a friend to so that we Xpressed ourselves freely each week in the confusing adaptations to this global health crisis. We uncovered clues. We are happy to share them with you.
