Madi Raichart is an 18-year-old senior at BMHS. She is a devoted thespian and musician, participating in all Battle Mountain theatrical and choral productions since her freshman year. Growing up in the Vail Valley, she has always had a passion for the outdoors and animals. She started beekeeping with her mother when she was 14, and has since developed a love for bees and the Save The Bees movement. If she’s not beekeeping or in class, you can find her skiing, walking her dogs, or singing show tunes. She was accepted into the Colorado AllState Choir and plans on studying Musical Theatre in college. Madi also plans on having her own apiary (bee farm) one day. Her talk will describe her experiences beekeeping, what the world would be like if bees went extinct, and how simple changes in everyday life can help save them.
